Produce electricity with a car

What if we connect a generator with the wheels of cars?

As shown on the picture, as the car is moving it will turn the turbine creating energy and this energy will be converted into electricity which will be stored in a battery.

OR

We can connect a device shown on the picture below:

As the wheel will move ... these likewise devices could charge up a battery while the person is driving his/her car.

These ideas could be useful to engineers and make it happen.. not like that but with new design ect. you know what I mean! :)
